The Endocopy Group of Erfan Hospital was established in 2006. It is located on the ground floor of the hospital next to IVF and physiotherapy units. The specialties existing in the endoscopy group include gastroenterology, pulmonology and urology.


Admission of patient by the endoscopy group

The endoscopy group admits patients as both inpatient and outpatient.

Outpatient Admission: Patients who have a letter from the physician can book an appointment by phone or in person and necessary preparations shall be made based on the type of procedure they need. The admission officer shall prepare the file of the patient in his/her presence and within due time.

Inpatient admission: After the physician's order and coordination between the related unit and the endoscopy group, the patient shall be admitted.

 

Discharge process


Discharge of outpatients: After performing the procedure and implementation of the physician’s instructions, the patient is discharged on the doctor’s order and receives the necessary training.

Discharge of inpatients: After the end of the procedure, the patient is transferred to the related unit on the physician's order.

  • Invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures through upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies
  • Treatment of GI bleedings by various methods
  • Polypectomy (removal of polyps from the different parts of the gastrointestinal tract)
